I am a Rolf® Structural Integration Practitioner, ScarWorker, Brainspotting Practitioner, nationally certified massage therapist and trained yoga teacher serving Plumas County and expanding my practice into El Dorado County, Northern California.
In addition to one-to-one bodywork, I support individual and community wellness through mediation and compassionate communication workshops, song circles, pain recovery education, and functional movement classes.
My journey in holistic health and wellness began more than 25 years ago through the study of food wellness, massage therapy, plant medicine; wildcrafting, herbal preparations, cultivation, and flower essences.
As a mother of now-adult twins, I have also moved through the profound physical and personal transitions of pregnancy, postpartum life, parenting, and menopause. These experiences have deepened my respect for the body’s capacity to adapt, reorganize, and find new forms of strength through every stage of life.
These diverse experiences now come together in a practice rooted in structural integration, nervous system awareness, somatic education, and compassionate presence. In both individual sessions and group facilitation, I draw from complementary practices including mindfulness coaching, Reiki, yoga nidra (aka non-sleep deep rest), and asana (yoga postures and movement).
I offer this work with gratitude for the teachers, traditions, and communities that have shaped me. My intention is to share what I have learned with presence and integrity, and to contribute, in some small way, to greater ease, connection, and freedom from suffering.
With care and intention,
Michelle
